AMG Chairman Earl Wright to be Inducted into Colorado Business Hall of Fame

AMG National Trust Chairman and co-founder Earl Wright is being inducted into the Colorado Business Hall of Fame, the Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain and the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce have announced. He and his fellow laureates are being honored for enduring and innovative professional contributions to Colorado, inspirational and ethical acumen, and philanthropic endeavors.
Mr. Wright co-founded AMG with Michael Bergmann, Ph.D., nearly 50 years ago, to set a standard for independent and objective wealth management focused on a client’s whole financial picture. AMG tailors customized strategies for clients that integrates strategic wealth planning, investment management, private capital, tax planning and preparation, trust, and banking services.
AMG is headquartered in Greenwood Village, CO (Denver) with more than 150 staff and seven other offices across the country: Asheville, NC; Boulder, CO; Cheyenne, WY; Chicago, IL; Hilton Head, SC; Morristown, NJ; and Virginia Beach, VA. Our clients have entrusted us with $8.1 billion in assets under management.
Mr. Wright has long been involved with community, education, and public policy issues. In 2010, he co-founded the nonpartisan Common Sense Institute to provide fact-based economic analysis that helps educate and inform policy debates about issues in Colorado. He also has served as trustee, board member, and chair of various committees associated with college preparatory schools, private and public universities, and their foundations.
Among other honors, Mr. Wright previously was recognized as a “Master in Profession” from his undergraduate alma mater, the University of Nebraska at Lincoln; Citizen of the Year from the Villager newspaper (Greenwood Village); and the Presidential Award from Doane University. He served as an academic advisor in the development of the Master’s in Finance program at the University of Denver. He received his MBA degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
For more than three decades, the Colorado Business Hall of Fame has recognized outstanding individuals who have made legendary contributions to the free enterprise system and have set powerful examples for others to follow.

The ceremony will be February 6, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center.
