AMG is providing construction financing for 62 units of affordable housing in a $30.8 million condominium building in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood just north of downtown.
Depending on size, units are expected to sell for between $200,000 and $350,000 and will be available for purchase to households earning up to 80% of the area’s median income. The building is two blocks from a light-rail station, and the condos come with transit passes for each resident.
AMG partnered with Shanahan Development and Elevation Community Land Trust to develop, build and sell the condos. AMG, through Shanahan Development, worked with several large entities to put the financing together for the project: The Colorado Department of Local Affairs, Denver’s Department of Housing Stability and Denver’s Urban Renewal Authority.
Expected to be completed by mid-2026, the building will consist of six stories of steel and concrete construction with a masonry facade, 4,000 square feet of commercial space, and each unit will be 100% electric.
